WHITEPAPER
Mission and Overview
At Unitium, our mission is to combine cryptocurrency with philanthropy, empowering our community to democratically steer charitable initiatives. We capture our work on social media to engage a global audience and inspire them to truly believe in a better world, while providing them with the tools to make it happen.
We are committed to:
• Democratizing philanthropy: Through our proposal and voting system we place the decision-making power directly into the hands of our token holders who submit proposals and vote on them. This democratic process ensures that the initiatives we undertake reflect the collective will and vision of our community.
• Visibility-Driven Philanthropy: By filming every charitable action and sharing it across social media, we leverage our content as a powerful marketing tool to grow Unitium. This strategy amplifies our visibility and fosters a virtuous cycle of engagement, growth, enhanced charitable capacity, and a growing desire from the global populace to buy some tokens and join the Unitium movement.
• Empowerment through Ownership: Our token holders aren’t just investors; they’re heroes of the story of the Unitium. By giving token holders the power to decide our charitable actions, they experience a direct sense of ownership. When they watch our videos, they can proudly say, “I did that!” This personal connection is key to creating a loyal tribe, deeply invested in Unitium’s mission and success.
• Innovative Charity Work: Unitium breaks away from traditional charity models. Instead of merely donating funds, we execute the projects ourselves. This hands-on approach allows for creative, impactful, and often groundbreaking charitable activities, decided by those who hold our tokens.
• Strategic Collaborations: To accelerate our reach and impact, Unitium collaborates with and sponsors videos from established philanthropic influencers. These partnerships not only amplify our message but also bring in new members with fresh perspectives, and will enhance our community’s growth and the visibility of our projects.
• Creativity: We encourage our community to think outside the box. With Unitium, token holders are the philanthropists, innovators, and directors of our charitable narrative, capable of initiating a wide range of unique projects that make this a better world.
Transforming Charity Forever: Blockchain-Powered, Community-Driven, World-Changing.
How Unitium Is Funded
Unitium employs a 5% transaction fee on both buying and selling actions within its ecosystem. This fee structure is strategically divided as follows:
• 2.25% is allocated to the Voting Pool. This fund is exclusively used for financing the charitable projects voted on by the token holders. None of these funds are used for running Unitium and are 100% used for the actual charitable work our holders have voted on.
• 2.25% goes to our Operational and Development Fund. This covers the costs associated with maintaining and advancing Unitium’s cryptocurrency infrastructure, producing high-quality video content of our charitable activities, paying our team, and managing the growth of our community.
• 0.5% goes into the DEX liquidity pool, increasing the liquidity and stability of Unitium’s token on decentralized exchanges.
Marketing Plan
What makes the marketing plan of Unitium so unusual and so incredibly powerful, is that everything that we do doubles as social media video content. Video content is the most powerful form of marketing content on the internet today, and constant production of engaging and endearing video content is built into the foundation of our project. We film everything we do and share it all over the internet on the top social media platforms.
Unitium will dominate the social media scene with a constant stream of engaging video content.
Marketing is not the only reason that we create video content. It also plays a pivotal role in deepening members’ connections to Unitium. By visually documenting our journey, from the inception of ideas to their tangible impacts, we develop a shared narrative that resonates with our members on a personal level.
This content not only showcases our collective achievements but also allows members to see themselves as integral parts of a larger story. It fosters a sense of belonging, as each video becomes a chapter in their personal involvement with Unitium, enhancing emotional investment and community cohesion.
This helps us cultivate a loyal tribe that doesn’t just hold tokens; they embody and evangelize the Unitium ethos, spreading their enthusiasm to their networks, and thereby organically growing our community.
Video Is a Key Element Often Lacking In Cryptocurrency Marketing
A major limiting factor with most cryptocurrency related projects is that there is little or no face time at all between the founders and their communities. This keeps trust and accountability low, and is part of what is holding back the blockchain world from really breaking out into the mainstream.
Video content significantly enhances the perceived reality, tangibility, and relatability of the blockchain space. Projects that feature their founders and other community members on camera foster a deeper connection with their communities, turning holders into passionate advocates who spread the word of their favorite cryptocurrency.
For maximum success, crypto founders must be on video and interacting with the public.
Some of the most successful cryptocurrency projects are ones that have founders who are doxxed and are regularly on video discussing their projects and communicating with their holders. Some great examples are Ethereum with Vitalik Buterin, BNB with Changpeng Zhao, and Cardano with Charles Hoskinson.
These founders are public figures that use social media to stay in touch with their fans and holders, and because of this, enormous trust is built and these projects have flourished.
Types of Video Content
Here is a list of some of the things we will be making video/marketing content of for our social media:
• Every proposal that is approved by our voters will be filmed and uploaded to all of the major social media platforms.
• We will also film interviews with the authors of the best community proposals, and our community’s reactions to the content once it’s finished.
• We will have frequent live online Zoom events for our community to get together and connect and discuss current Unitium events and future plans. We will take clips of these gatherings and turn them into shorter videos for our socials.
• When we run in-person community events, we will be filming the fun including interviews with voters and creators, on stage speakers, and more.
There will be no shortage of content to promote Unitium. This is how we get noticed and get people excited to be a part of what we are doing here.
This is how we build trust and loyalty and a passionate tribe that works together to help Unitium grow and succeed.
How Unitium Is Bridging the Gap to Mainstream Crypto Adoption
Right now, a major problem for the adoption of blockchain technologies is that they often feel distant, intangible, unrelatable, and to the mainstream world, simply unreal. With Unitium, we are not just making a new cryptocurrency, we are making these technologies relatable, useful, and interactive to the average person.
A major part of our project is to continuously create content that has a high chance of going viral. Because our content itself is a type that is not niche, but can appeal to almost everyone, it will be seen by thousands and eventually millions that have never even thought of purchasing a cryptocurrency.
Unitium may very well be the first cryptocurrency to ever appeal to the mass mainstream market, while providing them utility and benefits beyond a mere digital currency.
For the average person that is not an investor to become motivated enough to buy their first cryptocurrency, they need to be excited and compelled. They need to have that lightbulb moment when they realize “this is something that could change the world and I want to be a part of it!” Unitium accomplishes this by providing real utility and empowering users in ways that no other blockchain project ever has.
Because our community decides what happens with the funds our token generates, they carry a sense of ownership of what we do. They can point to a charitable project we just completed and say “I did that! That happened because I voted for the proposal to do XYZ and the amazing video content of it, and now everyone gets to enjoy seeing what the Unitium community accomplished!”
This sense of ownership and empowerment with video proof for all the world to see is something no other cryptocurrency project is offering, and this is how we turn the tables on the status quo and create something that truly stands out.
We have designed Unitium to foster trust and loyalty by giving our holders a platform with incredible depth, value, and utility.
For example, when we run an online live show there will be times when we will let our community vote on decisions about what we will do, who to talk to, who to give prizes and rewards to, etc. We want to make every voter feel like they are a part of something meaningful and like their voice is being heard, and for them to feel the pleasure of that. This is one of the many ways we will accomplish building a loyal tribe of long-term holders.
This will help foster ties and feelings of belonging and create a desire for our token holders to stick around and participate. As they see the fruits of their labor while engaging in all the fun we are having, they will be even more inspired to be active and help our community to develop and succeed.
By making cryptocurrency and Web3 relatable to the average person online, and giving them power, a sense of belonging, and creating meaningful content for them, we bridge the gap between blockchain technologies and the mainstream world. We finally make cryptocurrency something that FEELS useful and real to those who previously would never have considered participating in it.
What Can You Actually
Do With Our Funds?
Unitium funds charitable works which we create video content of, but we want our community to think broadly about what they can do with the voting wallet funds. Because we are not a traditional charity and we do the giving ourselves, our community can be innovative and creative when it comes to what we actually do.
Charity can be much more than just throwing money at problems, and that is exactly the paradigm that we have set out to change with Unitium. Unitium is not just a charity, it is a community of forward thinkers that are excited to bring new things to the world that make it a better place for everyone.
Charity doesn’t just have to be about serving those who are in dire straits (though that will also be an important part of our work).
Charity can also be:
• Rewarding everyday heroes with gifts from Unitium for their contributions to society
• Creating fun and entertaining on the street giveaway videos
• Providing art and beauty to a community
• Developing new technologies that benefit everyone
• Bringing awareness to problems so they can be solved
• Creating video content that inspires viewers to believe in and take action toward a better world
• Building schools, water filtration systems, cryptocurrency banking and services, etc. in underserved communities and developing nations.
• Providing education and resources (both for our community and the world at large)
• Throwing live in-person events to bring our community together to create a more cohesive tribe and raise additional funds for particular projects
• Fund studies on health protocols or medical treatments that the current medical establishment won’t explore because they aren’t profitable
• Fundraising events and activities to bring more awareness to Unitium
The Systems of Unitium
Community Systems
Our community interaction, voting, and token-gating runs through the Discord app. Discord is extremely popular with various online communities, and has a robust framework that will allow us to do everything needed to manage the various aspects of our community.
When users join our Discord, if they are token holders they can have their cryptocurrency wallets scanned by our token gating app if they wish to join as a full member, and will then be allowed to vote on and submit proposals. We will have a non-member section on our Discord for public discussion, asking questions, for Unitium announcements, and for posting links to our latest content.
Members have access to private forums where they can discuss anything Unitium related or simply socialize.
Voting System
Voters will be able to vote “yes,” “no,” or “changes needed” for a proposal. If voters feel that a proposal has potential but needs some work, they can suggest changes on the proposal’s reply thread. After the author makes revisions they can resubmit the proposal for another round of voting.
Proposals with a high price tag will be required to have a high percentage of the overall community participating in the vote in order to be passed. As we develop the project, we will designate price point tiers for proposals, with each requiring a certain percentage of the community voting on them to pass.
A proposal must designate how much money it will need and what specifically the funds will be used for. The resources in the community voting pool will be visible to voters so they always know how much of our resources are required to fund a proposal. Once a proposal is fully passed, the finances allotted to it will come from the voting pool.
To give an example of how this process will work, if our voters pass a proposal to provide a home to someone in need, the funds required to purchase and prepare the home will come out of the voting pool. We will use funds from the developer pool to cover the costs of filming everything and editing the videos, paying our staff that handles the details and paperwork, any legal costs, and any other costs not directly benefiting the party or cause we are serving. We will film an entertaining video of the best parts of the process so that our community can see their work in action.
As another example, if we pass a vote to build a school in an underserved community, we will pull the funds out of the voting pool to pay for it, find or send a team to do the work, and send a journalist or influencer team onsite to film the process and how it impacts the people of that community. A longer term project like this will give us enough content to make several videos during the multiple phases of construction, keeping our social media channels active and full of endearing and engaging content.

Legal Structure
Unitium has two sides, an LLC and a 501(c)(3) non-profit that can take tax-deductible donations.
Setting up Unitium in this way serves several unique purposes:
• By having the Unitium LLC as a for profit business, it generates revenue that is used to cover most or all of the backend costs of the charity without taking anything from the charity funds we receive. In this way, we minimize or eliminate overhead costs coming out of donations-a very rare feat in the charity world.
• We can receive donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations that are tax-deductible
